Airthings Wave Mini
3 AAA batteries (included)
Smartphone with Airthings app and Bluetooth

Step 1: Download the Airthings App

Download the Airthings Wave app from the App Store or Google Play. Create an account or sign in to your existing Airthings account.

Step 2: Power On the Device

Open the Wave Mini and remove the battery pull-tab. The monitor is now activated and will begin collecting readings.

Step 3: Add to Your Account

Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone. Open the Airthings app and follow the in-app instructions to locate and connect to the Wave Mini.

Step 4: Update Firmware

After adding the device, you may be prompted to update firmware. Complete this update for the latest features and improvements.

Step 5: Place the Monitor

Position the Wave Mini where you spend most of your time—bedroom, living room, or home office. Keep at least 1 meter (3 feet) from windows, doors, and vents.

Step 6: Allow Calibration

Give the sensors 7 days to calibrate for accurate readings.

Step 7: Sync Regularly

Wave Mini uses Bluetooth to sync with your phone. Be within Bluetooth range when checking readings. The device stores up to 80 days of data locally.

Troubleshooting

Can't find device: Toggle Bluetooth off/on in phone Settings (not quick menu)
Android users: Enable GPS/Location permission for Bluetooth LE
No internet required: Device works offline; only needs Bluetooth to sync
