What You'll Need
- Arlo Go 2 camera
- Compatible SIM card (AT&T or T-Mobile LTE) or Wi-Fi network
- Included rechargeable battery
- Magnetic mount and screws
- Smartphone with Arlo Secure App
- Arlo account
- Data plan (for LTE connectivity)
Step-by-Step Setup
- Charge the battery: Connect the magnetic charging cable to fully charge the battery before setup (approximately 4 hours).
- Install SIM card (if using LTE): Remove the back cover by pressing the release tab. Insert a nano SIM card into the SIM slot with contacts facing down. Replace the cover.
- Power on the camera: Press and hold the power button until the LED turns on.
- Open the Arlo app: Sign in to your Arlo account or create a new one.
- Add the camera: Tap "Add New Device" → "Cameras" → "Arlo Go 2."
- Scan the QR code: Locate the QR code on the camera and scan it with the app.
- Choose connection type: Select either "LTE" or "Wi-Fi" based on your preference. For LTE, the camera will automatically connect to the cellular network. For Wi-Fi, select your network and enter the password.
- Wait for connection: The LED will flash blue while connecting and turn solid when ready.
- Mount the camera: Use the magnetic mount for flexible positioning. The camera is ideal for remote locations, construction sites, RVs, or vacation homes without Wi-Fi.
- Activate data plan: For LTE use, set up a data plan through your cellular carrier or Arlo's mobile plans.

Troubleshooting
- LTE not connecting: Ensure SIM card is properly seated. Verify your data plan is active. Move camera to an area with better cellular signal.
- GPS location not updating: GPS requires clear sky view. Place camera in an area without overhead obstructions for accurate location tracking.
- High data usage: Reduce video quality settings. Decrease motion sensitivity to reduce recorded events. Use Wi-Fi when available to save data.
- Battery draining fast on LTE: LTE uses more power than Wi-Fi. Consider the Arlo Solar Panel for extended deployments. Reduce motion sensitivity and recording length.
- Camera offline: Check cellular signal strength in the app. Ensure data plan hasn't exceeded limits. Try toggling between LTE and Wi-Fi modes.
