Step-by-Step Setup
- Download Arlo Secure App: Install from the App Store or Google Play. Create an Arlo account.
- Charge Battery: Fully charge the Arlo battery before inserting into the camera.
- Insert Battery: Open the camera housing and insert the charged battery into the compartment.
- Wait for LED: The camera LED will blink blue when ready to pair.
- Add Device: In the Arlo app, select "Add New Device" and choose Arlo Pro 5S 2K.
- Connect to Wi-Fi: Select your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network and enter the password.
- Position Camera: Mount outdoors or indoors within 300ft of your router (or SmartHub if using one).
- Complete Setup: Follow remaining prompts to name the camera and configure settings.

Troubleshooting
- Won't connect to Wi-Fi: Only 2.4GHz supported. Ensure WPA2 encryption (not WPA3-only).
- LED not blinking blue: Ensure battery is charged and properly inserted. Try removing and reinserting.
- Rapid blue pulse: Camera successfully synced and connecting.
- App/manual mismatch: Menu options may differ slightly - look for gear icon if "Menu" isn't found.
- Change Wi-Fi: In app, go to Devices > Select camera > Connected to > Change Network.
