What's in the Box
The eufy Security Indoor Cam S350 package includes the camera unit, a USB-C power cable, a USB power adapter, a mounting plate with screws and wall anchors, an adhesive pad, and a quick-start guide. The S350 stands out with its dual-lens system — a wide-angle lens for overall room coverage and a telephoto lens that provides 8x hybrid zoom for detailed close-ups. It features 4K resolution, 360-degree pan and tilt, and AI-powered tracking that follows moving subjects across the room.
Prerequisites
Download the eufy Security app on your iOS or Android device and sign in or create an account. The Indoor Cam S350 connects directly to your Wi-Fi network and supports both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands, so no HomeBase is required. Have a power outlet within cable reach of your desired placement location. Optionally prepare a microSD card (up to 128 GB) for local event storage. The camera requires constant USB-C power and does not have a battery.
Step-by-Step Setup
- Connect the USB-C cable to the camera and plug the adapter into a wall outlet. The camera will power on and the status LED will begin flashing, indicating it is ready for pairing.
- Open the eufy Security app and tap the "+" icon. Select "Indoor Cam S350" from the device list.
- The app displays a QR code on your phone screen. Hold your phone about six inches from the camera lens. A voice prompt will confirm the QR code has been scanned successfully.
- Select your Wi-Fi network. For the best streaming performance with 4K video, choose your 5 GHz band if signal strength is adequate at the camera's location. Otherwise, use 2.4 GHz for more reliable range.
- Name the camera and assign it to a room.
- Insert a microSD card into the slot on the back of the camera if you want local storage. The app will prompt you to format it.
Placement and Mounting
The Indoor Cam S350 works best placed on a flat surface at table or shelf height where it has an unobstructed 360-degree view. Its pan and tilt motor needs room to rotate fully, so avoid placing it in a corner against two walls. For wall or ceiling mounting, use the included mounting plate and screws. Ceiling mounting is effective for rooms where you want complete coverage, as the camera can rotate a full 360 degrees. Avoid placing the camera facing a window to prevent IR reflections during night vision and false motion triggers from outdoor movement.
Smart Home Integration Tips
The eufy Security Indoor Cam S350 supports Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, and Apple HomeKit. In Alexa, you can view the wide-angle or zoom feeds on Echo Show devices. Google Home streams the camera to Nest Hub displays. HomeKit provides integration with Apple Home automations — for example, trigger the camera's tracking mode when a HomeKit-compatible door sensor detects an opening. Note that the dual-lens zoom feature is best controlled through the eufy Security app, as third-party platforms typically only display the primary wide-angle feed.
Quick Troubleshooting
If the QR code scan fails, increase phone brightness to maximum and ensure nothing is reflecting on the screen. If AI tracking does not follow subjects smoothly, ensure the camera has adequate lighting and that tracking is enabled in the eufy Security app under the camera's detection settings. If the camera's pan and tilt gets stuck or makes grinding noises, recalibrate it through the app settings. For 4K streaming that buffers, switch from 5 GHz to 2.4 GHz if you are at the edge of your router's range, or reduce the stream quality setting.
