Step-by-Step Setup
- Plan cable routing: Identify where you'll mount the camera and how you'll route the power cable to an outlet. The E220 requires continuous power.
- Download the eufy Security app: Install the app and sign in or create your eufy Security account.
- Add the camera: Tap the "+" button and select "Outdoor Cam E220."
- Connect power temporarily: Plug in the camera near your router for initial setup. It will power on and the LED will blink blue.
- Complete Wi-Fi setup: Follow the app prompts to connect the camera to your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network.
- Test the connection: Verify live view works before mounting.
- Mount the bracket: Hold the mounting bracket at your chosen location and mark the screw holes. Drill pilot holes and secure with the provided screws.
- Attach and adjust camera: Mount the camera and adjust the angle using the app's live view as a guide.
- Route and secure cable: Use cable clips (not included) to neatly secure the power cable along walls or trim.
- Configure motion zones: Set up detection areas and sensitivity to reduce false alerts.

Troubleshooting
- Camera not powering on: Verify outlet is working. Check all cable connections. Try a different outlet to rule out power issues.
- Wi-Fi connection drops: Check signal strength at mounting location before permanent installation. Consider a Wi-Fi extender for distant locations.
- False motion alerts: Narrow detection zones to exclude areas with frequent movement (trees, roads). Reduce sensitivity settings. Enable human-only detection.
- Spotlight too bright/dim: Adjust spotlight brightness in camera settings. Set motion-activated or dusk-to-dawn schedules.
- Water in camera housing: Ensure all ports are properly sealed. Check that the camera is mounted with the cable pointing downward to prevent water ingress.
