How to Set Up Your eufyCam 2C Pro

What You'll Need

  • eufyCam 2C Pro
  • HomeBase 2 (included in kit)
  • Smartphone with eufy Security app
  • Ethernet cable (included)
  • Router with available LAN port
  • eufy account

Step-by-Step Setup

  1. Download eufy Security App: Install from the App Store or Google Play. Create an account.
  2. Set Up HomeBase 2 First: Connect the HomeBase to your router with the Ethernet cable. Power it on.
  3. Wait for Blue LED: The HomeBase LED turns blue when ready (may take up to 1 minute).
  4. Add HomeBase in App: Tap (+) > Add Device > HomeBase > HomeBase 2. Scan the QR code on the bottom.
  5. Press SYNC Button: When HomeBase emits a sound, press SYNC/ALARM OFF for 2 seconds until you hear a beep.
  6. Name HomeBase: Give your HomeBase a name to complete its setup.
  7. Add Camera: Tap Add Device > select eufyCam 2C Pro. Choose the HomeBase you just added.
  8. Sync Camera: Press the SYNC button on the camera for 2 seconds. Wait for HomeBase to discover it.
  9. Test Signal: Use Camera Settings > Mounting Guide to test wireless signal at your desired location.

Troubleshooting

  • HomeBase LED not blue: Wait up to 1 minute. Check Ethernet connection to router.
  • Camera won't sync: Ensure camera is charged. Press SYNC button for full 2 seconds.
  • Weak signal: Move camera closer to HomeBase. Mount at 7-10 feet height for best detection.
  • Motion range: Detection works up to 30 feet (10 meters) from camera.
  • Phone must be on same network: Your phone must connect to the same Wi-Fi as HomeBase during setup.
