Step-by-Step Setup
- Clean TV Back: Wipe down the back of your TV with a dry cloth. Remove any dust or debris for best adhesion.
- Dry-Fit LED Strip: Before removing adhesive backing, test-fit the LED strip around your TV to plan placement.
- Apply LED Strip: Peel the 3M adhesive backing and carefully attach the strip to the TV's back edge. The strip is segmented into 4 sections for easier corner placement.
- Use Clips at Corners: Attach the included plastic clips at corners and bends to prevent the strip from loosening.
- Mount the Camera: Position the camera at the top-center or bottom-center of your TV screen, pointing at the display.
- Connect Control Box: Plug the LED strip into the control box, and connect the control box to power.
- Download Govee Home App: Install from App Store or Google Play. Enable Bluetooth on your phone.
- Pair Device: Open the app, tap (+), search for H6198 or your model number, and follow pairing instructions.
- Connect to Wi-Fi: Enter your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi credentials when prompted.
- Calibrate the Camera: Place the 7 foam calibration stickers on your screen at marked positions. In the app, go to Settings > Calibration and drag the calibration points to match the stickers.
- Remove Stickers: Gently remove the calibration stickers after calibration is complete.

Troubleshooting
- Colors not matching screen: Recalibrate the camera. Ensure calibration points are placed accurately and lines don't overlap.
- Camera positioning issues: The fish-eye lens will distort the image. This is normal - adjust calibration accordingly.
- Adhesive not sticking: Clean surface thoroughly. Allow 1 hour for 3M adhesive to cure before adjusting.
- Wrong colors on non-white walls: Adjust white balance in the app's Video settings to compensate for wall color.
- Wi-Fi connection fails: Ensure 2.4GHz network (5GHz not supported). Move closer to router during setup.
- LED strip sections not lighting: Check all connections between strip segments and control box.
