Step-by-Step Setup
- Turn off fixture: Ensure power is off before installing.
- Install the bulb: Screw the Govee A19 into the E26 socket.
- Power on: Turn on the fixture. The bulb will illuminate and be ready for pairing.
- Reset if needed: Turn off/on 5 times quickly to factory reset.
- Open Matter controller: Apple Home, Google Home, or Govee app.
- Add device: Tap "+" and scan the Matter QR code from packaging.
- Wait for pairing: Bulb connects via Wi-Fi.
- Assign room: Place in appropriate room.
- Test features: Adjust brightness, color, and color temperature.

Troubleshooting
- Not pairing: Reset bulb (5 on/off cycles). Use 2.4GHz Wi-Fi only. Move closer to router.
- Colors inaccurate: Adjust using color picker. LED color varies by manufacturer.
- Music sync not working: Feature requires Govee app. May not work through Matter controller.
- Bulb offline: Check Wi-Fi signal. Power cycle. Update firmware via Govee app.
- Scenes not syncing: Govee scenes stay in Govee app. Create new scenes in Matter controller.
