Step-by-Step Setup

  1. Set up IKEA hub first if not already done:
    • Connect DIRIGERA or TRADFRI Gateway to router
    • Add hub in IKEA Home smart app
  2. Plug in TRADFRI outlet
  3. Put in pairing mode:
    • Press the pairing button on the outlet (small hole)
    • Or plug/unplug 5 times rapidly
    • LED flashes when ready
  4. Add in IKEA app:
    • Go to device settings
    • Tap "Add device" → "Outlet"
    • Follow pairing instructions

Troubleshooting
