What You'll Need

  • JBL Authentics 300
  • Smartphone with JBL One app
  • Wi-Fi network

Step 1: Unbox and Position

Remove the JBL Authentics 300 from packaging. Place on a stable surface with adequate space for sound projection. The speaker features a retro-inspired design with a leather strap for optional portability.

Step 2: Connect Power

Connect the included power cable to the speaker and plug into a wall outlet. Press the power button to turn on. The speaker has a built-in battery for portable use once charged.

Step 3: Download the App

Install the JBL One app on your iOS or Android device. Open the app and ensure your phone is connected to your Wi-Fi network.

Step 4: Set Up Wi-Fi

Follow the in-app instructions to connect your Authentics 300 to Wi-Fi. Enter your network password when prompted. Wait for the connection to complete.

Step 5: Configure Voice Assistants

Set up Google Assistant and/or Amazon Alexa through the JBL One app. Both assistants can be active simultaneously for hands-free control.

Step 6: Link Streaming Services

Connect your preferred music services (Spotify, Apple Music, etc.) within the app for seamless playback.

Bluetooth Connection

For Bluetooth-only use: Enable Bluetooth pairing mode on the speaker. Find "JBL Authentics 300" in your device's Bluetooth settings and connect.

Troubleshooting

  • Battery not charging: Use included power cable; ensure outlet is working
