Step-by-Step Setup
- Design your layout: The wood-look finish gives a warm, natural aesthetic. Plan your arrangement keeping this in mind.
- Clean mounting area: Wipe down the wall to remove dust and ensure good tape adhesion.
- Connect panels with linkers: Snap the hexagonal panels together using the included linkers.
- Apply mounting tape: Attach tape strips to the back of each panel.
- Mount first panel: Start with a central panel and press firmly for 30 seconds.
- Build your layout: Add panels one by one, connecting linkers and pressing firmly to the wall.
- Connect controller: Attach the controller to any panel's available port using a linker.
- Power up: Connect the power supply and plug into an outlet.
- Download Nanoleaf app: Install and create your account.
- Pair the device: Follow the app instructions to connect to your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi.
- Detect layout: Run layout detection for accurate scene effects.

Troubleshooting
- Color appears off: Elements are designed for white/warm tones—they don't display full RGB colors like other Shapes products.
- Linkers not connecting: Ensure you're using Elements-compatible linkers. Some older linkers may not fit.
- Layout not detected: Verify all panels are connected. Power cycle the system. Run detection with panels fully powered.
- Wi-Fi setup fails: Use 2.4GHz network. Move closer to router during setup. Reset controller if needed.
- Dimmer than expected: Elements have a diffused finish for ambiance—they're designed for mood lighting, not task lighting.
