Step-by-Step Setup
- Turn off fixture: Ensure the spotlight fixture is powered off.
- Install the GU10 bulb: Insert the GU10 bulb into the socket and twist to lock in place.
- Power on: Turn on the fixture. The bulb will illuminate and enter pairing mode.
- Open Matter controller app: Use Apple Home, Google Home, or another Matter-compatible app.
- Add device: Tap "+" to add a new accessory.
- Scan Matter code: Use the QR code on the packaging or enter the numeric code manually.
- Wait for pairing: The bulb connects via Thread network.
- Assign location: Place the bulb in the correct room.
- Customize settings: Set default brightness, color, and schedules.

Troubleshooting
- Not discovered: Reset by turning off/on 3 times quickly. Ensure Thread border router is nearby and online.
- Flickering: May indicate incompatible fixture or dimmer. Ensure fixture doesn't have built-in dimmer—use smart dimming only.
- Limited range: GU10 spotlights are directional. Position for desired coverage area.
- Color appears washed out: Adjust brightness—colors show better at lower brightness levels.
- Won't stay connected: Check distance to Thread border router. Add more Thread devices to strengthen mesh.
