Step-by-Step Setup

Plan your layout: Arrange the hexagons on the floor first to design your pattern. Take a photo for reference.
Clean the wall: Wipe the wall surface with a dry cloth to remove dust and debris for better adhesion.
Connect panels with linkers: Snap panels together using the included linkers. Each panel connects to adjacent panels at the edge connectors.
Attach mounting tape: Apply the double-sided mounting tape to the back of each panel.
Mount the first panel: Press firmly against the wall for 30 seconds. This is your anchor panel.
Add remaining panels: Connect and mount each panel one at a time, pressing firmly for adhesion.
Connect the controller: Attach the controller to any panel using a linker.
Connect power: Plug the power supply into the controller and into a wall outlet.
Download Nanoleaf app: Install and create a Nanoleaf account.
Pair the panels: Tap "+" and follow the Wi-Fi pairing instructions. Enter your 2.4GHz network credentials.
Run layout detection: The app will automatically detect your panel arrangement.

Panels not lighting up: Check linker connections—they must click firmly. Ensure power supply is connected. Try reseating linkers.
App can't find panels: Ensure 2.4GHz Wi-Fi (not 5GHz). Power cycle the panels. Reset controller by holding power button 10 seconds.
Layout detection wrong: Ensure all panels are connected with linkers. Run detection again. Manually adjust in app if needed.
Panels falling off wall: Clean wall thoroughly before remounting. Use additional mounting tape. Avoid textured walls.
Some panels different color: Check linker connections. Update firmware. Ensure all panels are same generation.
