Step 1: Set Up the Machine
Remove all packaging. Fill the water tank with fresh water. Plug in the machine.
Step 2: First Run
Press the button to turn on. Run a cleaning cycle without a pod by pressing the button with an empty chamber.
Step 3: Download the App
Download the Nespresso app and create an account or sign in.
Step 4: Connect to WiFi
Follow the app instructions to connect your Vertuo Next to Wi-Fi. This enables alerts and firmware updates.
Step 5: Insert a Pod
Open the head, insert a Vertuo pod with the barcode facing down, and close. Press the button to brew.
