Step-by-Step Setup
- Install Bulb: Screw into an E26 socket with the switch OFF.
- Open Hue App: Launch the app and ensure Bridge is connected.
- Add New Light: Go to Settings > Light setup > tap (+).
- Power On: Turn on the light switch to power the bulb.
- Search: App will search for and discover the new bulb.
- Name and Assign: Give the bulb a name and assign to a room.
- Explore Features: Try adjusting color temperature from warm (2200K) to cool (6500K).

Troubleshooting
- Not discovered: Keep bulb close to Bridge during first pairing. Other Hue bulbs act as repeaters.
- Color temp not changing: Ensure you're adjusting the right bulb in the app.
- Reset bulb: Turn on for 1 second, off for 4 seconds - repeat 5 times. Bulb flashes to confirm reset.
- Warm-up delay: Hue bulbs should turn on instantly. If delayed, check for dimmer switches.
- Automation issues: Verify the bulb is assigned to the correct room for routines.
