Step-by-Step Setup
- Power On Device: Connect the Qingping Air Monitor to power using the USB-C cable.
- Option 1 - HomeKit Direct: Open the Apple Home app, tap (+), select "Add Accessory," and scan the HomeKit code on the bottom of the device.
- Option 2 - Qingping+ App: Download the Qingping+ app for additional settings like temperature units and firmware updates.
- Assign to Room: Choose which room the monitor will be placed in and give it a name.
- Set Preferences: If using the Qingping+ app, adjust temperature units (Celsius/Fahrenheit) and other settings.
- Ensure Home Hub: For remote access, verify you have a HomePod or Apple TV set up as a home hub.
- Allow Calibration: The device will automatically adjust to your environment over the first 24 hours.

Troubleshooting
- HomeKit pairing fails: Reset network settings by holding the touch bar for 8 seconds, then try again.

- Readings seem irregular: Allow 24 hours for the device to calibrate to your environment.
