  • Power adapter (included)
  • Smartphone with Reolink app
  • 2.4GHz or 5GHz Wi-Fi network

Step-by-Step Setup

  1. Position the camera: Place the E1 Zoom on a flat surface or determine wall mount location. The pan/tilt design requires some clearance for movement.

  4. Add the camera: Tap "+" then scan the QR code on the bottom of the camera.
  5. Connect to Wi-Fi: Select your network (2.4GHz or 5GHz) and enter the password. Wait for "Connection to router succeeded."
  6. Create device password: Set a secure password for camera access.

Troubleshooting

  • Voice prompt: "Network connection failed": Verify Wi-Fi password is correct. Ensure router is broadcasting and within range. Try 2.4GHz if 5GHz fails.
  • Pan/tilt not responding: Restart the camera by unplugging power briefly. Check for obstructions around the camera. Update firmware.
  • Auto-tracking loses subject: Subject may be moving too fast. Ensure adequate lighting. Keep tracked area within camera's range of motion.
  • Optical zoom not working: Use pinch-to-zoom in the app for optical zoom. Digital zoom is handled separately. Check that camera isn't in the middle of a pan/tilt motion.
  • Night vision too dark: IR LEDs may be blocked or dirty. Clean the camera lens. Check that night vision is enabled in settings.
