Step-by-Step Setup

  1. Position the charging station: Place the auto-empty station against a wall with 1.5ft clearance on each side and 4ft in front.
  2. Connect power: Plug in the charging station. The indicator will illuminate.
  3. Prepare the robot: Remove all protective packaging and tape from the K10+.
  4. Place on charger: Position the robot on the charging station. Ensure contacts align. Let it charge fully before first use.
  5. Download SwitchBot app: Install and create or sign in to your account.
  6. Add the robot: Tap "+" → "Robot Vacuum" → "K10+."
  7. Connect to Wi-Fi: Follow prompts to connect the robot to your 2.4GHz network.
  8. Run initial mapping: Start a cleaning cycle to let the robot map your home.
  9. Edit rooms: Once mapping is complete, label rooms and set cleaning preferences.
  10. Add to Matter (optional): With a SwitchBot Hub, share the vacuum to your Matter controller for basic start/stop commands.

Troubleshooting

  • Robot not charging: Clean charging contacts on both robot and station. Ensure robot is properly aligned on dock.
  • Map not accurate: Remove obstacles during mapping. Run multiple mapping cycles. Delete and remap if needed.
  • Auto-empty not working: Check dustbin is installed. Ensure station bag isn't full. Clean the suction path.
  • Wi-Fi connection lost: Only 2.4GHz supported. Move station closer to router. Reset Wi-Fi in app settings.
  • Robot getting stuck: Clear floor obstacles. Use boundary strips for problem areas. Check wheels for tangled debris.
