- Link to hub: For remote notifications, select your SwitchBot Hub to enable cloud connectivity.
- Name your detector: Give it a descriptive name like "Under Kitchen Sink" or "Water Heater."
- Test the sensor: Place a few drops of water on the metal probes to verify the alarm sounds.
- Position the detector: Place flat on the floor near potential water sources with probes facing down.
- Optional extension probe: Connect the included extension cable for hard-to-reach areas.
Key Features
- Immediate detection: Loud 100dB alarm sounds within 3 seconds of water contact
- Push notifications: Instant smartphone alerts when connected via hub
- Extension probe: Included 1.5m cable for detecting leaks in tight spaces
- Low-profile design: Slim enough to fit under appliances and in cabinets
- Long battery life: Up to 2 years on a single CR2 battery

Troubleshooting
- No alarm during test: Check that battery tab was fully removed. Replace battery if needed.
- No app notifications: Ensure detector is linked to a hub. Check notification permissions in phone settings.
- False alarms: Clean metal probes with dry cloth. Condensation or high humidity can trigger detection.
- Alarm won't stop: Remove detector from water and dry the probes. Press button to silence temporarily.
- Detector offline in app: Move hub closer or check hub's WiFi connection.
