Step-by-Step Setup
- Turn off fixture: Ensure the light fixture is powered off.
- Install the bulb: Screw the L530E into the E26/E27 socket.
- Turn on power: Switch on the fixture. The bulb will illuminate and pulse indicating pairing mode.
- Open Matter controller: Use Apple Home, Google Home, or another Matter-compatible app.
- Add new device: Tap "+" to add an accessory.
- Scan Matter code: Find the QR code on the bulb packaging and scan it.
- Wait for connection: The bulb connects via Wi-Fi to your smart home.
- Assign room: Place the bulb in the appropriate room.
- Test features: Adjust brightness, color, and color temperature.

Troubleshooting
- Bulb not in pairing mode: Turn off/on 5 times quickly (1 second intervals) to reset to pairing mode.
- Matter code not scanning: Enter the numeric code manually. Ensure camera can read the QR clearly.
- Colors not accurate: Adjust in app settings. Color rendering varies by bulb and fixture.
- Bulb offline frequently: Check Wi-Fi signal at fixture location. Ensure router supports 2.4GHz. Update firmware via Tapo app.
- Dimmer switch issues: Don't use physical dimmer switches—control dimming through the app only.
