What You'll Need
- uHoo Smart Air Quality Sensor
- Smartphone with uHoo app (iOS 11+ or Android 4.4+)
- 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network (WPA/WPA2 security)
- USB power adapter and cable (included)
- Email address for account creation
Step-by-Step Setup
- Prepare Your Phone: Turn off VPN and mobile data. Enable Location Services for the uHoo app.
- Download uHoo App: Install the uHoo app from the App Store or Google Play.
- Create Account: Sign up with your email. Check your inbox for the activation email and click the verification link.
- Power On uHoo: Connect to power using the included USB adapter. Wait for the LED to turn solid blue.
- Connect Phone to Wi-Fi: Ensure your phone is connected to the same 2.4GHz network you want uHoo to use.
- Add Device: In the app, tap "Setup My First uHoo" and follow the prompts.
- Connect to uHoo Wi-Fi: When prompted, go to your phone's Wi-Fi settings and connect to "UHOO-XXXXXXXXXXXX" network.
- Complete Setup: Return to the app. Enter your Wi-Fi password. The LED will turn green when connected.
- Name Your uHoo: Assign a name, room, floor, and timezone to complete registration.

Troubleshooting
- LED stays solid blue: Device is in setup mode. Follow app instructions to connect to Wi-Fi.
- Setup fails: Ensure VPN and mobile data are off. Location permissions must be enabled.
- 5GHz network not found: uHoo only supports 2.4GHz networks. Check your router settings.
- CO2 readings inaccurate: The CO2 sensor requires 48 hours of continuous use to calibrate.
- LED color meanings: Blue = setup mode, Green = connected, Light/Red = connecting to cloud, Purple = firmware update.
