Step-by-Step Setup
- Turn off the fixture: Ensure the light is switched off before installation.
- Install the bulb: Screw the WiZ A19 bulb into the E26 socket.
- Turn on power: Switch on the fixture. The bulb will illuminate and start pulsing to indicate pairing mode.
- Open Matter controller: Use Apple Home, Google Home, SmartThings, or another Matter-compatible app.
- Add device: Tap "+" to add a new accessory.
- Scan Matter code: Locate the QR code on the bulb packaging and scan it with your phone.
- Wait for connection: The bulb will connect via Wi-Fi to your home network.
- Assign room: Place the bulb in the appropriate room.
- Customize: Set scenes, schedules, and preferred brightness/color settings.

Troubleshooting
- Bulb not in pairing mode: Turn the bulb off and on 3 times quickly (1 second each). It should start pulsing.
- Matter pairing fails: Ensure you're on a 2.4GHz network. Move closer to router. Try scanning code again or enter manually.
- Bulb disconnects: Check Wi-Fi signal strength. Update bulb firmware via WiZ app. Ensure router isn't blocking the device.
- Colors look different than expected: Color accuracy varies by bulb. Adjust using color wheel or preset scenes.
- Can't control from all platforms: Matter supports multi-admin—add the device to each ecosystem using the pairing process.
