Step-by-Step Setup
- Turn off fixture: Power off the recessed light fixture.
- Install the bulb: Screw the WiZ BR30 into the recessed fixture socket.
- Power on: Turn on the fixture. The bulb will light up and begin pulsing for pairing.
- Open Matter controller: Apple Home, Google Home, or compatible app.
- Add new device: Tap "+" to begin adding.
- Scan Matter QR code: Find the code on packaging and scan it.
- Complete pairing: Wait for the bulb to connect to your network.
- Assign location: Add to the appropriate room for organization.
- Group multiple bulbs: If you have several BR30s, group them for synchronized control.

Troubleshooting
- Not entering pairing mode: Cycle power off/on 3 times with 1-second intervals. The bulb should start pulsing.
- Fits poorly in fixture: BR30 should fit 5-6" recessed cans. Verify socket compatibility.
- Dim output: Check if a physical dimmer is interfering. Smart bulbs need full power—control dimming via app.
- Group control issues: Ensure all bulbs in the group are online. Update firmware. Re-create the group if needed.
- Matter code not recognized: Try entering the numeric code manually. Ensure code hasn't been used with another controller.
