Step-by-Step Setup
- Unpack Camera: Remove all packaging and peel the protective film from the lens.
- Download Wyze App: Install from the App Store or Google Play. Create a Wyze account or log in.
- Connect to Power: Plug the camera into an outlet. Wait about 20 seconds until the status light flashes yellow.
- Add Device: In the Wyze app, tap Home > (+) > Add Device > Cameras > Wyze Cam v4.
- Enable Bluetooth: The app will use Bluetooth to discover your camera - no QR code needed.
- Connect to Wi-Fi: Select your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network and enter the password. Tap Next.
- Name Your Camera: Give the camera a name or choose from suggestions. Tap Finish.
- Optional Cam Plus Trial: Accept or skip the Cam Plus free trial offer.

Troubleshooting
- Status light not flashing yellow: Unplug and replug the camera. Wait 20 seconds.
- Bluetooth not finding camera: Enable Bluetooth and location services on your phone.
- Wi-Fi connection fails: Only 2.4GHz networks supported. 5GHz won't work.
- Change Wi-Fi network: You can re-run setup to change networks without deleting the camera.
- Factory reset: Press and hold the setup button on the bottom for 10 seconds while powered on.
