What You'll Need
- Wyze Lock Bolt
- Screwdriver
- Smartphone with Wyze app
- 4 AA batteries (included)
Step 1: Download the Wyze App
If you don't have it already, download the Wyze app and create an account or sign in.
Step 2: Install the Lock
The Wyze Lock Bolt replaces your existing deadbolt. Remove your old deadbolt and install the Lock Bolt following the included instructions.
Step 3: Insert Batteries
Install the 4 AA batteries into the interior assembly. The lock will power on.
Step 4: Add to Wyze App
In the Wyze app, tap "+" and select Wyze Lock Bolt. Follow the pairing instructions to connect via Bluetooth.
Step 5: Register Fingerprints
Add your fingerprints through the app. You can store up to 50 fingerprints for family and trusted guests.
Step 6: Set Up PIN Codes
Create backup PIN codes for keypad entry when fingerprint isn't convenient.

Troubleshooting
- Fingerprint fails: Clean sensor; re-register finger from different angles
- Bluetooth disconnects: Stay within range; check phone Bluetooth
- Lock jams: Check alignment; lubricate mechanism
- Low battery: Replace all 4 AA batteries at once
