Installing Your Inovelli Blue Series 2-1 Switch (Zigbee)

What You'll Need

• Inovelli Blue Series 2-1 Switch (VZM31-SN)
• Phillips head screwdriver
• Wire strippers
• Voltage tester
• Zigbee hub (SmartThings, Hubitat, Home Assistant ZHA/Z2M)
• Neutral wire recommended (bypass available for no-neutral)

Step-by-Step Setup

1. Turn off power: Switch off circuit breaker.
2. Remove existing switch: Unscrew and disconnect wires.
3. Wire the switch: Connect Line, Load, Neutral (if available), and Ground. Use included wiring diagram.
4. Install bypass (if no neutral): Wire bypass at the light fixture.
5. Mount switch: Secure in wall box and attach plate.
6. Restore power: Turn breaker back on. LED bar will pulse blue.
7. Put hub in pairing mode: Start Zigbee device discovery.
8. Pair switch: Press config button 3 times. LED turns green when paired.
9. Configure mode: Set to Dimmer or On/Off mode via hub.
