Installing Your Inovelli Red Series Dimmer (Z-Wave)

What You'll Need

• Inovelli Red Series Dimmer (LZW31-SN)
• Phillips head screwdriver
• Wire strippers
• Voltage tester
• Z-Wave hub (SmartThings, Hubitat, Home Assistant)
• Neutral wire recommended

Step-by-Step Setup

1. Turn off power: Switch off circuit breaker.
2. Remove existing switch: Unscrew and disconnect wires.
3. Wire the dimmer: Connect Line, Load, Neutral (if present), and Ground per wiring diagram.
4. Mount dimmer: Secure in wall box and attach wall plate.
5. Restore power: Turn breaker back on.
6. Put hub in inclusion mode: Start Z-Wave device discovery.
7. Include dimmer: Press config button 3 times. LED will flash green when included.
8. Configure parameters: Adjust LED color, dimming speed, min/max levels in hub.
