Step-by-Step Setup
Pairing Without Smart Bridge (Direct to Dimmer)
- Access dimmer: Go to the Caseta dimmer you want to control.
- Enter pairing mode: On the dimmer, press and hold the OFF button for 6 seconds until the LED blinks.
- Pair Pico: On the Pico remote, press and hold the OFF button for 6 seconds until the LED on the dimmer stops blinking.
- Test: Press buttons on Pico to verify it controls the dimmer.
Pairing With Smart Bridge (via App)
- Open Lutron app: Navigate to your devices.
- Add Pico: Tap "+" then "Add Device" and select Pico remote.
- Follow prompts: Press buttons on Pico as instructed to pair.
- Assign to room/device: Choose which light(s) the Pico will control.
- Customize buttons: Configure favorite levels or scene activation.

Troubleshooting
- Pico not pairing: Ensure you're within 30 feet of the dimmer or Bridge. Try fresh battery if old.
- Buttons not responding: Replace the CR2032 battery (access from back of remote).
- Lost pairing: Re-pair using the steps above. May need to unpair first from app.
- Wrong device responding: Check button assignments in the Lutron app.
