What You'll Need
- Lutron Caseta Smart Fan Speed Control (PD-FSQN)
- Phillips head screwdriver
- Wire strippers
- Voltage tester
- Lutron Caseta Smart Bridge (for app/voice control)
- Pico remote for fan (optional)
Step-by-Step Setup
- Turn off power: Switch off circuit breaker for the fan circuit.
- Remove existing switch: Unscrew and disconnect wires.
- Identify wires: Locate Line (hot), Load (to fan), and Ground wires.
- Wire the fan control: Connect black wires to Line and Load. Connect green to Ground.
- Mount in wall box: Secure with screws and attach wall plate.
- Restore power: Turn breaker back on.
- Test manually: Use buttons to cycle through Low, Medium, High, and Off.
- Add to Smart Bridge: Open Lutron app and pair the fan control.
- Pair Pico remote (optional): Add fan Pico for remote speed control.

Troubleshooting
- Fan humming: Not compatible with all fan types. Check Lutron compatibility list.

- Fan with light kit: Need separate control for light - this only controls fan motor.
