Installing Your Lutron Caseta Wireless Smart Switch (On/Off)

What You'll Need

• Lutron Caseta Wireless Smart Switch
• Phillips head screwdriver
• Wire strippers/connectors
• Voltage tester
• Lutron Caseta Smart Bridge (optional)

Step-by-Step Setup

1. Turn off power: Switch off the circuit breaker for the circuit you're working on.
2. Remove existing switch: Unscrew wall plate and disconnect wires. Take a photo for reference.
3. Identify wires: Locate Line (hot from breaker), Load (to fixture), and Ground wires.
4. Connect Caseta switch: Connect black wires to Line and Load. Connect green wire to Ground.
5. Mount switch: Push wires into box and secure switch with screws.
6. Install wall plate: Attach the Claro wall plate.
7. Restore power: Turn breaker back on and test the switch.
8. Add to Smart Bridge (optional): Use Lutron app to add switch for remote and voice control.
