Installing Your Nuki Smart Lock 3.0 Pro

What You'll Need

  • Nuki Smart Lock 3.0 Pro
  • 4 AA batteries (included) or Nuki Power Pack
  • Smartphone with Nuki app
  • Compatible euro-profile cylinder with emergency function
  • Your existing key

Step-by-Step Setup

  1. Download Nuki app: Install from App Store or Google Play.
  2. Check cylinder compatibility: Measure cylinder overhang. Must have emergency function (allows key from both sides).
  3. Select mounting plate: For ≥3mm overhang, use clamp-on plate. For <3mm, use stick-on plate.
  4. Install mounting plate: Clamp-on: Screw onto cylinder with included wrench. Stick-on: Clean surface and adhere plate.
  5. Insert your key: Put your key in the lock from the inside.
  6. Mount Smart Lock: Align the "Nuki" marking at top and turn until the small notch is centered at top.
  7. Install batteries: Insert 4 AA batteries or connect Nuki Power Pack.
  8. Open Nuki app: Create account and tap "+" to add the Smart Lock.
  9. Pair via Bluetooth: Follow in-app instructions for pairing.
  10. Calibrate: The app guides you through learning locked/unlocked positions.
  11. Connect WiFi (3.0 Pro): Built-in WiFi - connect directly without needing Nuki Bridge.

Troubleshooting

  • Lock won't mount: Check cylinder overhang and use correct mounting plate.
