Step-by-Step Setup
- Turn off power: Switch off circuit breaker for outdoor circuit.
- Mount bracket: Attach the wall mounting bracket to your outdoor electrical box.
- Connect wiring: Connect line (black), neutral (white), and ground (green/bare) wires.
- Attach light fixture: Secure the Appear light to the mounting bracket.
- Restore power: Turn breaker back on.
- Open Hue app: Go to Settings > Lights > Add light.
- Search for device: The light will appear as a new device.
- Assign to room/zone: Add to your outdoor area.

Troubleshooting
- Light not turning on: Check wiring connections. Verify breaker is on.
