Step-by-Step Setup

  1. Charge Battery: Fully charge the battery pack using the USB-C cable before installation.
  2. Download Ring App: Install from App Store or Google Play. Create account or log in.
  3. Start Setup: Tap "Set Up a Device" and select Doorbells.
  4. Scan QR Code: Scan the QR code on the back of the doorbell or in the packaging.
  5. Insert Battery: Slide the charged battery into the doorbell until it clicks.
  6. Enter Setup Mode: The doorbell will automatically enter setup mode. Look for spinning blue light.
  7. Connect to Wi-Fi: Select your Wi-Fi network and enter the password.
  8. Enter Address: Add your location for proper functionality.
  9. Mount Doorbell: Install using included hardware. Can replace existing doorbell or mount fresh.

Troubleshooting

  • Blue spinning light: Doorbell is in setup mode and ready.
  • Battery not clicking: Ensure battery is fully inserted until you hear/feel the click.

  • Quick-release battery: Easily remove for charging without removing doorbell from mount.
  • Factory reset: Press and hold orange setup button for 20 seconds.
