Step-by-Step Setup

  1. Ensure Bridge is ready: Ring Bridge must be set up first.
  2. Open Ring app: Tap "+" and select Smart Lighting.
  3. Scan QR code: Found on the steplight.
  4. Name and group: Assign to a lighting group.
  5. Choose location: Select stair riser or deck edge with sun exposure for solar panel.
  6. Mark mounting holes: Hold steplight in position and mark holes.
  7. Drill and mount: Install anchors if needed, then screw steplight in place.
  8. Allow initial charge: One full day of sunlight recommended.
