Installing Your Wyze Video Doorbell Pro

What You'll Need

  • Wyze Video Doorbell Pro
  • Smartphone with Wyze app
  • Wyze account
  • Existing doorbell wiring (16-24V AC)
  • Wyze Chime (included)
  • 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network

Step-by-Step Setup

  1. Turn Off Power: Switch off the circuit breaker for your existing doorbell.
  2. Download Wyze App: Install and log in with your Wyze account.
  3. Add Device: Tap (+) > Add Device > Cameras > Video Doorbell Pro.
  4. Remove Old Doorbell: Disconnect wires from existing doorbell.
  5. Connect Wires: Attach doorbell wires to the terminals on Wyze Doorbell Pro.
  6. Mount Doorbell: Secure to wall using included mounting hardware.
  7. Restore Power: Turn circuit breaker back on. Doorbell will power up.
  8. Follow App Instructions: Complete Wi-Fi setup and configuration in the app.
  9. Set Up Wyze Chime: Plug in the Wyze Chime indoors and pair with doorbell.

Troubleshooting

  • Wired only: Doorbell Pro requires existing doorbell wiring - no battery option.
  • 16-24V AC required: Check your transformer voltage before installation.
  • 2.4GHz only: Does not support 5GHz Wi-Fi networks.
  • Chime not ringing: Ensure Wyze Chime is plugged in and paired with doorbell.
  • Factory reset: Press and hold setup button for 20 seconds.
