Installing Your Zooz ZEN77 Z-Wave Plus 700 S2 Dimmer

What You'll Need

• Zooz ZEN77 Z-Wave Plus Dimmer
• Phillips head screwdriver
• Wire strippers
• Voltage tester
• Z-Wave hub (SmartThings, Hubitat, Home Assistant)
• Neutral wire required

Step-by-Step Setup

1. Turn off power: Switch off circuit breaker.
2. Remove existing switch: Unscrew and disconnect wires.
3. Identify wires: Line (hot from breaker), Load (to light), Neutral, Ground. Line and Load cannot be swapped!
4. Wire the dimmer: Connect to matching terminals on ZEN77.
5. Mount dimmer: Secure with screws (compact 1.16" depth fits shallow boxes).
6. Attach wall plate: Install included or compatible Decora plate.
7. Restore power: Turn breaker back on.
8. Put hub in inclusion mode: Start Z-Wave discovery.
9. Include dimmer: Tap upper paddle 3 times. LED blinks blue during inclusion.

Troubleshooting
