Device Not Connecting via Bluetooth
- Bluetooth range is limited to 30 feet
- Enable Bluetooth and location on phone
- Keep phone near cooker during pairing
- Remove other Bluetooth devices temporarily
- Restart Anova app and try again
WiFi Setup Issues
- Anova requires 2.4GHz WiFi network
- Connect via Bluetooth first, then configure WiFi
- Enter WiFi password carefully (case sensitive)
- Factory reset: Hold button 15 seconds
- WiFi enables remote start and monitoring
Not Heating Water
- Ensure minimum water level above MIN line
- Check for airlocks - tilt cooker slightly
- Verify heating element isn't blocked
- Descale if heating is slow (white vinegar soak)
- Impeller should spin when running
Temperature Inaccurate
- Allow 10-15 minutes for temperature stabilization
- Use separate thermometer to verify
- Calibration offset available in app settings
- Place cooker in center of container
- Cover container to reduce heat loss
Alexa Integration
- Link Anova account in Alexa app
- "Alexa, set Anova to 135 degrees"
- "Alexa, start Anova" (must have water and be ready)
- Temperature in Fahrenheit by default
- Re-link if commands stop working
Error Codes
- E1: Water too low - add more water
- E2: Water too hot - add cold water
- E3: Temperature sensor error - contact support
- E4: Heating element issue - descale or contact support
- Blinking lights indicate different states
