Cielo Breez AC Controller Not Connecting or Controlling

Cielo Breez Plus adds smart control to mini-split and window AC units. This guide covers setup and control issues.

Device Not Connecting to WiFi

1. Cielo requires 2.4GHz WiFi network
2. Hold button until LED flashes rapidly
3. Use Cielo Home app for configuration
4. Keep phone near device during setup
5. Check WiFi password has no special characters

AC Not Responding to Commands

1. Position device with IR emitter facing AC
2. Maximum distance is usually 20 feet
3. Select correct AC brand/model in app
4. Try different remote codes if listed
5. Learn mode can capture custom remotes

Wrong Temperature Reading

1. Built-in sensor may differ from AC location
2. Use external temperature sensor if available
3. Place device away from direct sunlight
4. Sensor calibration available in settings
5. Allow time for temperature to stabilize

Scheduling Issues

1. Verify timezone is set correctly
2. Schedules use 24-hour format
3. Check conflicting schedules
4. Comfy mode may override schedules
5. Geofencing requires location permission

Home Assistant Integration

1. Use Cielo Home integration from HACS
2. Requires Cielo account credentials
3. Exposes climate entity with modes
4. Local API not available (cloud-dependent)
5. Set update interval to avoid rate limits

Voice Control

1. Link Cielo account in Alexa/Google
2. AC appears as thermostat device
3. "Set AC to 72 degrees"
