Dreo makes smart fans and humidifiers with app control. This guide covers connectivity and operation issues.

Device Not Connecting to WiFi

  1. Dreo devices require 2.4GHz WiFi network
  2. Put device in pairing mode (WiFi button until blinking)
  3. Grant location permission to Dreo app
  4. Keep phone near device during setup
  5. Try setup with mobile hotspot as test

App Shows Device Offline

  1. Check device is powered on and connected
  2. Verify WiFi network is operational
  3. Power cycle device by unplugging 30 seconds
  4. Re-add device in Dreo app if persistent
  5. Check for app updates in store

Smart Tower Fan Issues

  1. Oscillation motor may need reset (power cycle)
  2. Clean air intake vents for proper airflow
  3. Remote uses CR2025 battery
  4. Fan speed not changing = check child lock
  5. Timer can be set via app or remote

Humidifier Not Producing Mist

  1. Check water tank is properly seated
  2. Fill tank with clean, room temperature water
  3. Clean ultrasonic transducer plate
  4. Check humidity target isn't already met
  5. Descale tank if mineral buildup visible

Humidifier Auto Mode Issues

  1. Auto mode uses built-in humidity sensor
  2. Sensor may need calibration period
  3. Target humidity adjustable in app
  4. Place away from walls for accurate reading
  5. Clean sensor opening periodically

Voice Control Not Working

  1. Link Dreo account in Alexa/Google app
  2. Discover devices after linking
  3. Use device name as set in Dreo app
  4. Say "Turn on [device name]" or "Set fan to high"
  5. Re-link skill if commands fail
