Dyson Pure Cool purifiers offer air quality monitoring with powerful filtration. This guide covers connectivity and performance issues.
Purifier Not Connecting to WiFi
- Use Dyson Link app for setup
- Enable Bluetooth for initial pairing
- Device requires 2.4GHz WiFi network
- Hold power button for WiFi setup mode
- Keep phone near purifier during setup
Air Quality Readings Inaccurate
- Allow 15 minutes for sensor warmup
- Sensors calibrate over first few days
- Clean sensor inlet periodically
- Avoid placing near strong odors
- TP09 has additional formaldehyde sensor
Not Purifying Effectively
- Check filter status in app
- Replace HEPA and carbon filters when indicated
- TP09 catalytic filter is permanent
- Run in Auto mode for continuous purification
- Close room for maximum effectiveness
Oscillation Issues
- Oscillation controllable via app or remote
- Set angle range (up to 350 degrees)
- If stuck, power cycle the unit
- Keep base clear for rotation
- Night mode may limit oscillation
Night Mode and Sleep Timer
- Night mode dims display and reduces noise
- Set sleep timer via app (up to 9 hours)
- Schedule via app for automatic operation
- Continuous mode available
Home Assistant Integration
- Dyson integration available (built-in)
- Uses Dyson cloud API
- Exposes fan, sensors, and filter life
- Control oscillation and air quality target
- Air quality sensors as individual entities
