Device Won't Connect to WiFi

Setup problems:

  • Dyson Link app: Use official Dyson Link app
  • 2.4GHz only: Most Dyson fans only support 2.4GHz WiFi
  • WiFi button: Press and hold WiFi button on device during setup
  • Factory reset: Hold power button 20 seconds for full reset
  • Close proximity: Keep phone near device during initial setup

Remote Control Not Working

Remote and app issues:

  • Remote battery: Replace CR2032 battery in remote
  • Line of sight: Point remote at device's IR sensor
  • Remote pairing: Some models need remote re-paired after reset
  • App control: Use app when on same WiFi network as device

Air Quality Readings Seem Wrong

Sensor accuracy issues:

  • Sensor warm-up: Sensors need time to calibrate after power on
  • Clean sensors: Wipe sensor openings gently with dry cloth
