Problem Description
Your Eufy Video Doorbell 2K (Battery) is not ringing when pressed, not sending notifications, failing to connect to WiFi, or Live View is not working.
Common Causes
- Doorbell not connected to WiFi
- HomeBase offline (if used)
- Battery depleted
- Chime not configured
- Motion sensitivity too low
Solutions
1. Check Battery Level
- Open eufy Security app
- Select your doorbell
- Check battery percentage
- Charge if below 20%
2. Verify WiFi Connection
- Check doorbell status in app
- If offline, doorbell may have lost WiFi
- Check your home WiFi is working
- Doorbell needs 2.4GHz network
3. Reconnect to WiFi
- Remove doorbell from mounting
- Press and hold sync button until LED flashes
- Open eufy app and add device
- Follow setup to connect to WiFi
4. Configure Chime Settings
- Go to doorbell settings in app
- Find Indoor Chime settings
- Enable HomeBase chime or add wireless chime
- Test by pressing doorbell button
5. Check Motion Detection
- Go to Motion Detection settings
- Ensure detection is enabled
- Adjust sensitivity - higher for more alerts
- Configure activity zones if missing events
6. Check HomeBase (if applicable)
- Ensure HomeBase is powered and online
- Check Ethernet connection to router
- LED should be solid blue when connected
- Power cycle if showing offline
7. Factory Reset
- Press and hold sync button for 10 seconds
- LED will flash indicating reset
- Remove from app and set up again

Contact Eufy Support if the doorbell button does not work mechanically, you see physical damage, or the device will not charge.
