Problem Description

Your Innr Smart Bulb Color A19 is not pairing with your Philips Hue Bridge, SmartThings hub, or other Zigbee coordinator.

Common Causes

  • Bulb not in pairing mode
  • Hub has reached device limit
  • Bulb previously paired to another hub
  • Zigbee channel interference
  • Bulb too far from hub

Solutions

1. Reset Bulb to Pairing Mode

  1. Turn bulb off for 2 seconds
  2. Turn on for 2 seconds
  3. Repeat on/off 6 times total
  4. Bulb will flash to indicate pairing mode

2. Pair with Philips Hue

  1. Open Hue app and go to Settings
  2. Select Light setup then Add light
  3. Choose Search while bulb is in pairing mode
  4. Bulb should appear as Dimmable light or Color light

3. Pair with SmartThings

  1. Open SmartThings app
  2. Tap + then Add device
  3. Select Scan nearby or By brand
  4. Put bulb in pairing mode
  5. Wait for discovery

4. Move Bulb Closer

  • For initial pairing, install bulb near the hub
  • Within 10 feet works best
  • After paired, move to final location
  • Innr bulbs act as Zigbee repeaters

5. Check Hub Device Limit

  • Hue Bridge supports up to 50 lights
  • SmartThings supports 200+ Zigbee devices
  • Remove unused devices if at limit

6. Try Touchlink Reset

If bulb was paired elsewhere:

  1. Use Hue app Touchlink feature
  2. Or use Zigbee2MQTT Touchlink if using HA
  3. This forces bulb to reset and pair

Compatible Hubs

  • Philips Hue Bridge (with limitations)
  • SmartThings Hub
  • Amazon Echo Plus/Show with Zigbee
  • Home Assistant with Zigbee coordinator
