Humidifier Not Connecting to WiFi

  1. Most smart humidifiers require 2.4GHz WiFi
  2. Check manufacturer app for setup steps
  3. Hold button until LED indicates pairing mode
  4. Grant location permission to app
  5. Keep phone near device during setup

Not Producing Mist

  1. Check water tank is properly seated
  2. Verify water level is above minimum
  3. Clean ultrasonic plate/transducer
  4. Use clean, room temperature water
  5. Avoid distilled water with some models

Auto Mode Not Working

  1. Built-in humidity sensor controls output
  2. Target humidity set in app
  3. Sensor may need calibration time
  4. Place away from walls and vents
  5. Compare with separate hygrometer

UV-C/Sterilization Features

  1. UV-C light kills bacteria in water
  2. Canopy uses UV-C as primary feature
  3. Replace UV-C bulb per manufacturer schedule
  4. Don't look directly at UV-C light
  5. Still clean regularly despite UV-C

Cleaning and Maintenance

  1. Empty and dry tank when not in use
  2. Clean weekly to prevent mold/bacteria
  3. Descale monthly with white vinegar
  4. Replace filters per schedule
  5. Wipe sensors with soft cloth

Voice Control

  1. Link manufacturer account in Alexa/Google
  2. "Turn on humidifier"
  3. "Set humidifier to 50 percent"
  4. Create routines for bedtime humidity
