The Aqara Light Sensor T1 is a compact, high-precision ambient light detection device that enables intelligent lighting automation based on real-time illumination levels. With a detection range spanning from 0 to 83,000 lux and impressive accuracy of plus or minus 2%, the sensor can accurately measure everything from dim indoor lighting to bright outdoor sunshine. The sensor features a highest sensitivity of 1 lux, allowing it to detect even subtle changes in lighting conditions for precise automation triggers.

The sensor's compact form factor measures just 40 x 40 x 17mm, making it unobtrusive when placed in any room. Built with an anti-UV material shell that protects against discoloration from sun exposure, it offers three flexible installation methods: lying flat on surfaces, mounting with adhesive tape, or attaching magnetically to metal surfaces. The energy-efficient design powered by Zigbee 3.0 protocol allows a single battery to last over two years under normal usage conditions, minimizing maintenance requirements.

When integrated with an Aqara Zigbee 3.0 hub, the Light Sensor T1 can trigger a wide variety of automations such as automatically adjusting smart blinds based on sunlight intensity, turning on lights when ambient illumination falls below a certain threshold, or creating dynamic lighting scenes that respond to changing daylight conditions throughout the day. The sensor operates reliably across a wide temperature range of -10 to 50 degrees Celsius and humidity levels up to 95% RH.
