The Philips Hue Play Gradient Lightstrip for 55-inch TVs is a revolutionary smart lighting solution designed to create immersive entertainment experiences by extending your TV's colors onto the wall behind it. Unlike standard lightstrips that display a single color, the Play Gradient can display up to seven different colors simultaneously, with three independently controllable segments on top and two on each side. The 216.5cm lightstrip attaches to three sides of your television and delivers up to 1,100 lumens with a 45-degree light projection angle.

This lightstrip transforms movie watching, gaming, and music listening into full-room experiences when paired with the Philips Hue Play HDMI Sync Box (sold separately). The Sync Box captures content from your TV and translates it into immediate lighting effects with zero delay, whether you are watching 8K content at 60Hz or 4K at 120Hz. Colors flow naturally from one segment to another, creating a seamless gradient effect that mirrors your on-screen content.

The Play Gradient Lightstrip requires a Hue Bridge and must be integrated into an entertainment area through the Hue app. Despite displaying seven colors simultaneously, it only counts as one lamp on your Bridge, leaving room for up to nine additional light sources in your entertainment area. Voice control is available through Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, and Apple HomeKit via the Hue Bridge.
