Ring Smart Lighting Bridge

The Ring Smart Lighting Bridge connects Ring's line of smart outdoor lights to your home's WiFi network, enabling app control, automation, and integration with Ring cameras and the Amazon Alexa ecosystem. The bridge is required for all Ring Smart Lighting products and serves as the central hub for the lighting system.

The bridge plugs into a standard outlet and creates a local network that communicates with Ring Smart Lighting products via Ring's proprietary RF protocol. This dedicated network operates independently of WiFi congestion and provides reliable connectivity for outdoor lighting even at significant distances from your router. One bridge can support up to 50 Ring Smart Lighting devices.

Through the Ring app, control individual lights or groups, set schedules based on time or sunset/sunrise, and create automations that link lights with Ring cameras. When a Ring camera detects motion, connected lights can automatically illuminate the area. Integration with Amazon Alexa enables voice control and inclusion in Alexa routines.
