SmartThings Smart Outlet

The SmartThings Smart Outlet provides Zigbee-connected plug-in smart control for lamps, fans, and other devices through the SmartThings ecosystem. The compact design adds smart switching capability to any standard outlet while participating in the broader SmartThings automation environment.

Zigbee connectivity through SmartThings Hub enables local control that works even during internet outages. The outlet appears in the SmartThings app for scheduling, automation triggers, and inclusion in scenes. Create routines that coordinate the outlet with other SmartThings devices.

The compact design allows two outlets to be used on a standard duplex receptacle without blocking either position. The 15-amp capacity handles most household devices including lamps, fans, and small appliances. Physical button provides manual on/off control.

Energy monitoring tracks power consumption of connected devices, helping identify energy usage and confirm devices are actually off. The SmartThings app displays real-time and historical power data.
