Ecobee SmartSensor

The ecobee SmartSensor is a wireless temperature and occupancy sensor that extends ecobee thermostat capabilities to additional rooms. This sensor reports actual temperature and room occupancy back to the thermostat, enabling comfort optimization based on where people actually are rather than just the thermostat location. The compact design allows discrete placement anywhere.

The sensor addresses the common problem of uneven heating and cooling by providing temperature data from rooms that differ from the thermostat's location. When occupancy is detected in sensor-equipped rooms, the thermostat can prioritize those zones. Multiple sensors can be deployed throughout the home for comprehensive coverage.

SmartSensors communicate wirelessly with ecobee thermostats and appear in the ecobee app for monitoring and configuration.
