Google Nest Thermostat E

The Google Nest Thermostat E brought Nest's learning thermostat technology to a more accessible price point with a frosted display that shows temperature and status subtly. While discontinued for new sales, many installed units continue to operate with Google Home integration.

The frosted display shows temperature and Nest Leaf efficiency indicator while blending unobtrusively into home décor. The learning algorithm observes your schedule and temperature adjustments to build a personalized program automatically. Home/Away Assist saves energy based on phone location and occupancy sensing.

WiFi connectivity enables the Nest app and Google Home integration for voice commands through Google Assistant. The thermostat also supports Amazon Alexa for voice control. Remote temperature sensors (sold separately) can prioritize comfort in specific rooms.

Energy History shows heating and cooling patterns to help optimize efficiency. Seasonal Savings automatically adjusts schedules to reduce energy during peak periods. Note that the Thermostat E has been succeeded by the current Nest Thermostat, and replacement parts may become limited over time. Matter is not supported.
